The Denver Broncos made a commitment to fixing their offensive line this offseason. The centerpiece of said commitment was first-round (20th overall) draft pick Garett Bolles. On Thursday, they made a financial commitment to their new left tackle.
The Broncos have signed Bolles to a four-year contract, worth just over $11 million. According to Mike Klis of 9 News, the deal is fully guaranteed. According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post, he will carry an estimated cap hit of $2 million next season.
Bolles was named first-team All-Pac-12 last season, his only campaign at Utah. Prior to that, he spent two seasons at Snow College. He will turn 25 on May 27.
Bolles is the fourth member of the Broncos’ eight-man draft class to sign a contract, joining Isaiah McKenzie, De’Angelo Henderson and Chad Kelly.
