Of the 22 players cut by the Denver Broncos in the last few days, eight made a speedy return to the orange and blue, signing contracts on the team’s practice squad early Sunday morning.
The team still has two opens spots available on their practice squad.
Juwan Thompson, who’s been with the organization since he was undrafted out of Duke three years ago, is the elder statesman of the group, and with his positional versatility (running back, fullback, special teams) there’s absolutely a chance he’s called up to the 53-man roster at some point this season.
