Forbes released their list of The World’s 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams of 2016, and the Denver Broncos maintained their 2015 ranking of 26.
The Broncos were one of 27 NFL franchises to make this year’s list, as opposed to last year’s tally of 20 teams. The group of NFL teams is led by the No. 1 overall Dallas Cowboys, at $4 billion. Denver is 11th out of the 27 teams.
Last year’s ranking saw Denver with a value of $1.45 billion, but this year’s ranking is accompanied by an increased value of $1.94 billion. Also for the second straight year, the Broncos were the only Colorado team to appear on the list.
