The Denver Broncos had their final practice ahead of their Week 13 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, on Friday, and got some promising injury news in regard to a few of their key stars.
What injury updates were there, what happened, and how will this affect the game in Baltimore? Let’s take a look.

Unsurprisingly, Kendall Hinton and Jalen Virgil are fully ready to go, despite appearing on the injury report this week. Kareem Jackson is also set to play, after missing practice on Wednesday for non-injury-related reasons.
Dalton Risner had his first full day of practice this week, and should start for the Broncos on Sunday. Meanwhile, Dre’Mont Jones, an arguable defensive MVP and the linchpin of Denver’s defensive front, finally returned to practice after missing Wednesday and being limited Thursday with an illness.
Jones has been tremendously valuable for the Denver Broncos all season, and they’ll especially need him against the Ravens’ talented rushing attack.
The biggest positives of the day, though, were Jerry Jeudy and K’Waun Williams both seeing surprise practice time and unexpectedly being marked as questionable for Sunday’s game. In regard to Jeudy, Hackett said it would be a game-time decision.
Now, that’s still far from ideal, but it’s meaningful nonetheless, considering how valuable Jeudy has been to the Broncos’ passing game this season.
Jeudy saw more work on the practice field today, during the media viewing session, so it feels more likely that he plays than Williams.
As for bad news, the Denver Broncos might need Jeudy more than was initially expected, as Courtland Sutton is now questionable with a stomach bug.
There is a chance Kendall Hinton will be the Broncos’ top receiver on Sunday against the Ravens if Courtland Sutton (stomach bug) and Jerry Jeudy (ankle) can’t play. Both are listed as questionable.

Brandon McManus also suffered a minor injury to his kicking quad. He’s still expected to play on Sunday, but that’s a concern, even if he plays.
Brandon McManus has tightness in his kicking quad, but “should be good to go,” per Hackett.
The team is preparing Corliss Waitman to do kickoffs if needed.

Jonathan Harris, K.J. Hamler, Andrew Beck and Dakota Allen have all been marked as ‘out’, and while that’s certainly disappointing, it’s not exactly surprising either. Hopefully, the Denver Broncos have had enough time to prepare for those absences.
Latest on the Broncos
One of the more important injury listings for the Denver Broncos, believe it or not, is that of Andrew Beck.
That description of Beck might surprise some, but Coach Hackett did an excellent job detailing the difficulty of replacing Beck, during Friday’s media session.
“He’s a very different kind of player because he has that ability to play outside and be able to play the fullback position,” Hackett said of Beck. “It’s definitely something that we can’t really fill because we don’t have the kind of body like him and the things that he can do. We’ll just have to focus on some other things”
Considering the Packers spent a third-round pick on a similar talent, Josiah Deguara, while Hackett was there, demonstrates the value of such a fullback to this style of offense.
Now, it’s no secret the the Broncos offense hasn’t lived up to expectation this year, and that Hackett’s offensive plan has flopped, but taking pieces away can make it even worse.
