Love him or hate him, you have to have respect for Andrew Luck.
After suffering through injuries all year, Luck fought through more pain on Sunday than many of us could probably imagine. And he hardly winced.
Andrew Luck: partial tear of an ab muscle and a laceration in 1 kidney. Out 2-6 weeks, per team.

So, in other words, the Denver Broncos tore Andrew Luck’s insides. Here’s the play the injury supposedly occurred on.

On the next play … he threw a touchdown.
I remember watching that play and wondering how in the world he could take that hit and just hop right back up. Now, I’m wondering how he took that hit, lacerated his spleen, tore his abs and then just hopped right back up.
Oh, and he then proceeded to drive the Colts down the field on a seven-play, 33-yard field goal drive, followed by the game-ending 12-play, six-minute dagger to close out the game and hand the Broncos their first loss.
The reports are that Luck will miss up to six weeks, but after what he did against the Broncos, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back after their bye.
One more reason why I know I wasn’t cut out to be a football player.
