John Elway essentially had first dips at undrafted rookie free agents with three of the last six picks in the 2015 NFL draft. With their final compensatory pick Denver drafted Oklahoma State linebacker Josh Furman.
Furman had a productive season for the Cowboys after transferring from Michigan. Last season racked up 64 tackles and had one interception. Furman joins a Broncos linebacking corp with multiple questions. Key among them is the health of Danny Trevathan and Brandon Marshall. If Denver’s two stars struggle to get back on the field Furman may have a chance to make the roster.
