Over the course of two weeks, the Rockies will have been put to the test facing some of the league’s best in the Dodgers, Cardinals and this week, the NL East’s Miami Marlins.
Despite their record (27-31), Colorado has shown they can compete at a high level, not just this month but also in May winning seven of their final 10 games. They split a four-game series with the Dodgers to open up the month of June and although the Rockies failed to earn the series sweep against St. Louis on Wednesday, still won two of three.
Having faced the Marlins last weekend, the Rockies came away with just one win out of the three-game series in Denver.
How will Colorado hold up this week?
Troy Tulowitzki is back in the starting lineup after missing yesterday’s game, so that’s always great news for any Rockies fan.
Per the Rockies on Twitter, they’ll be regaining the services of Corey Dickerson and LaTroy Hawkins, beginning on Thursday.

Dickerson will be in the starting lineup to open up the Marlins series while LaTroy Hawkins will return to the bullpen in place of Bergman, who allowed only three hits and no earned runs in the two innings he threw Wednesday afternoon.
Dickerson hit .306/.342/.523 in 117 plate appearances before he was on DL May 19 with plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
The 42-year old Hawkins hasn’t played since April 22 with a bicep tendinitis injury. He allowed seven runs off 11 hits in just six innings and is returning for his final season.
