The Denver Broncos quarterbacking woes have continued with Drew Lock out with injury as they turn to Brett Rypien on Thursday night against the New York Jets.
Rypien will be Denver’s third starting quarterback in four games and represents another name that may find itself on an exhausting Cleveland Browns-like list that continues to grow for the Broncos of quarterbacks they’ve brought in – with the intention to start or not – who have underwhelmed.
Fairly stated, none of this happens if Lock remains healthy and injuries can never be expected. But the unprepared nature of Denver at the quarterback position without Lock when the opportunity to bring in better talent lands on the shoulders of Denver’s general manager John Elway.
Broncos Blitz podcast host Ronnie Kohrt goes over the unprepared nature Denver has seemingly had for multiple years now post-Peyton Manning.
