Is there a better offensive player on the Denver Broncos than Emmanuel Sanders?
You’d be hard pressed to find one. He’s a superb route-runner, he catches everything thrown his way in traffic, and he even lays out for deep balls when they’re overthrown.
One of his qualities fans don’t always get to see, is Sanders’ leadership, which can be heard here as he was mic’d up in last Sunday’s 20-19 victory over the Oakland Raiders:
How good does it feel to #BeatTheRaiders?

Sanders walks down the sideline, hyping up his teammates, and he even dissects the defense while he’s playing. The veteran receiver noticed the Raiders were rolling coverage his way when they were sending blitzes, and he also asked the offense to attack down field more.
Currently, he leads the Broncos in receptions (14) and yards (231) with one score, and this season’s just heating up. Those 231 total yards through only two games also put Sanders at No. 8 overall in the NFL to this point, and his 79.2 overall grade by Pro Football Focus made him the best-performing player on the Denver offense in that rivalry win.
Sanders is a showman, first dazzling the crowd with his huge catches and then bowing to them, or celebrating in other ways, to bring a ton of energy to Mile High Stadium. It’s part of the reason why he’s been a fan-favorite during his five years with the Broncos.
Next up for Sanders and the cardiac kid Broncos — who’ve had to mount two fourth-quarter comebacks to be 2-0 — are the Baltimore Ravens (1-1) in Baltimore at 11 a.m. MST this Sunday.
