The Denver Nuggets are 0-5 when they have two or more days of rest to prepare for a game.

Tonight, the Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Clippers (again) after four days off, part of the built in schedule for the NBA Cup. Denver hasn’t played since the second night of a back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, taking multiple days off to rest and recover before getting back to work earlier this week. Can the Nuggets break that streak of losses following multiple off days?

In addition, the Nuggets are now 30th in the NBA in three-pointers attempted. They’re one of the only teams in the league to have their three-pointers per game go down from last year, and Ryan has an interesting theory about why.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn previews tonight’s Denver Nuggets game vs the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver’s third matchup with James Harden and Norman Powell this season.

Can the Nuggets slow them down this time around? Will Jamal Murray return to the lineup? What else is important about tonight’s game? Ryan goes over the details before discussing Denver’s three-point shooting issues.
