With the a spot up for grabs, the door is open for the Denver Nuggets organization to make a big-time move. Chauncey Billups has made it known that he would like to be involved with the game even after his playing days are behind him, and this may be his best opportunity.
Billups has said that he would consider joining the front office of an NBA team; however, maybe coaching is a way to bridge the gap.
Billups loved the city of Denver and the Nuggets origination. Maybe he would consider joining Michael Malone and Co. on the bench for a year or two before attempting to join the front office.
Billups is currently an NBA analyst for ESPN.
