Through two games, Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson sits second in the NFL in rushing yards. Sits is a bit of a misnomer, as Anderson has been anything but still through the first two weeks.
With 199 yards, Anderson trails only Kansas City’s Kareem Hunt for the NFL lead. With 45 attempts, he leads the league by a full five carries. That workload would put him on pace for 360 carries on the season – more than twice his career high of 179 and already 40 percent of the way to his total of 110 last season.
Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro caught up with the Broncos workhorse back to find out how he’s feeling, and if he’s up for carrying such a heavy load all season. Anderson says with more touches comes more opportunities. He took full advantage of those opportunities Sunday.
