Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler is 6-foot-8 according to the team’s official website.

The average Broncos media member is probably about a foot shorter than that.

When a player comes out to meet with the media after practice, he generally gets on “the box” as it’s known and stands above everyone. It’s maybe a six inch wooden platform for the cameras behind the media to get a better look at the player.

Osweiler was on “the box” today, but he sure as heck didn’t need it.
