Rapids goalkeeper Clint Irwin has been added to the gameday roster for the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star game, the club announced Wednesday. This last-minute addition comes along with Toronto FC forward, Jozy Altidore. Irwin is the third goalkeeper coach Pablo Mastroeni will have on his roster.
Irwin expressed his gratitude on Twitter.
Opportunities in this game are few and my career started with a sliver of one. I can't wait for tonight and I'm excited to represent MLS.

Irwin is the only Rapids player that has played every minute of all 20 regular season games. This is his third season in Colorado after he signed with the Rapids on Feb. 21, 2013. Irwin has seen action in 78 MLS regular season matches and has a total of 224 saves, registering 24 shutouts. This season, Irwin has helped the Rapids rank first in goals against.
With the newest addition of Irwin, that makes a total of three Rapids players on the All-Star roster, which includes defender Drew Moor and midfielder Sam Cronin.
Congrats to Clint Irwin for being named to the Game Day Roster for tonight’s 2015 MLS All-Star Game, 3 Rapids NICE !!! @ColoradoRapids
