The Denver Nuggets selected Kentucky guard Jamal Murray with the seventh overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, and with the table set for what could be a a remarkable career, Murray talked about the meaning behind his signature “Be More” slogan.

“My dad taught me everything I know about the game,” Murray said. “He has this thing called ‘Be More,’ and it essentially means be you and always get better everyday, and always live up to your standards, and never settle.”
Murray is a combo guard that is ready to take his shot at making it in the best basketball league in the world.
“I only get one shot at this, so just be yourself, that’s how I got to where I am today.”
