It was a good-news-bad-news day for the Denver Broncos.
Earlier this afternoon we learned that the Broncos were awarded running back Justin Forsett off waivers, but not long after it was announced that Kapri Bibbs would be headed to injured reserve to make way for the former Ravens back.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the recovery time for Bibbs’ ankle injury, which he suffered during Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, was estimated to be between two and four weeks, long enough to force Denver’s hand and send him to IR.
Bibbs, who was just starting to get his first real dose of NFL action, looked good on Sunday, rushing for 49 yards on just five carries. As a whole, he was averaging 4.4 yards on the season.
