Broncos Country is incredibly excited about their fresh batch of rookie wideouts, but they’re not the only ones. Former Bengals great Chad Johnson has high hopes for Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler as well.
Johnson started singing the praises of the two rookies following twitter post from Jeudy, which showed him running through a footwork drill with blazing speed and lightning-quick feet.

Jeudy’s ability to keep his speed through his breaks and change direction without slowing down seemed biblical to Johnson, which is quite the compliment considering Johnson’s acumen as a route-runner.

Ochocinco didn’t stop there though. He also took some time to praise second-round pick Hamler, and to a lesser extent, Courtland Sutton. Johnson referred to all “three as true No.1 receivers with peculiar skill sets.”
Can i talk football & peculiar skill sets real quick please, it’s unfair that Jeudy & Hamler are lining up together, i can confidently say this is the first time I’ve seen 3 true number 1 receivers on 1 team‼️

If Johnson is right about Hamler and Jeudy’s talents, the Broncos would quickly have one of, if not the best bunch of wide receivers in the league. In particular, Hamler and his rare speed could give the Broncos’ offense an exciting element they haven’t had in a long time, if ever.
After receiving some backlash for his praise of Hamler, Johnson was quick to double-down on his belief in Hamler’s ability.
I’m not Mel Kiper but i know my shit, have you seen KJ Hamler manipulate the grass beneath his feet❓

It wasn’t just potential future Hall of Famers that were excited about Jeudy’s stellar footwork though. Senior Bowl Executive Director and former scout for the Seattle Seahawks, Jim Nagy, also heaped praise onto the rookie Bronco.

Whether or not his incredible abilities show up on an NFL field is still yet to be seen. The one thing we know for sure now, is that the Broncos should be a lot more fun to watch in 2020 than they have been for the past several years.
