We know the “No Fly Zone,” Denver’s secondary, is great. We see it every weekend. This is a unit that has played Cam Newton and Andrew Luck in their first two games and given up a combined 346 passing yards — seven quarterbacks had at least 346 passing yards last week alone.
But just how good is this unit ? How do they compare to the rest of the league? Well, very favorably. That’s how.
#Broncos have gone 28 straight games without allowing an opposing QB to post a passer rating of 100+. Next longest active streak: PIT with 9

The Denver Broncos have gone nearly two seasons without giving up a passer rating of over 100. How difficult is that to do? Well, 14 quarterbacks finished Week 2 with a passer rating of over 100, including guys like Jacoby Brissett (in limited action), Dak Prescott and Tyrod Taylor.
In that span of 28 games, the Denver Broncos have faced some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, including Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers, Luck, Newton and more. The fact that not one of them, some of which Denver has matched up with more than once, has surpassed a passer rating of 100 is absurdly impressive.
With that in mind, if you have the Cincinnati Bengals and Andy Dalton taking down the Broncos on Saturday, you may want to rethink your pick.
