Last year, Peyton Manning injured his foot, forcing him to miss time while the young-gun Brock Osweiler stepped up in his place.
This year, Trevor Siemian injured his foot, forcing him to miss time while the young-gun Paxton Lynch stepped up in his place.
Deja vu, right?
Well, Siemian decided to take it one step further, recreating the iconic Manning-jacuzzi photograph from last year.

Siemian will miss this Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, but reports are that the Broncos are hopeful that he’ll be available the following week against the Titans.
If Manning’s strategy works for Siemian the same way it worked for him, though, the Broncos should be prepared for a dramatic return and an exhilarating ride through January and on into the Super Bowl.
At least, I think that’s what Siemian is hoping for.
