Okay, New York Jets. What are you thinking?
It’s bad enough you’re basically selling off or cutting every halfway decent player on your roster. Now you’re the second team in as many months trying to steal Denver’s long-standing “No Fly Zone” moniker?
On Monday, the Jets tweeted out this hype image of rookie safeties Marcus Maye (left) and Jamal Adams (right), referring to them as the “No Fly Zone” with an “Opponent Advisory.” (Oh the irony for a team called the Jets.)

Um… How about actually getting Adams signed to his rookie contract before trying to cop the nickname of a secondary that contains a pair of All-Pro defensive backs?
How the Jets didn’t realize that Denver owns the title of “No Fly Zone,” is almost as mind-boggling as the fact they are shedding talent this spring faster than sunbathers shed layers in Central Park.
Seriously, we just went through this with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Almost exactly one month ago, Jacksonville tried to use “No Fly Zone” in a #TBT (Throwback Thursday) tweet.
Making matters worse for J-ville was the fact that the tweet actually pictured Broncos wideout Demaryius Thomas.

Of course, plenty of fans got in on the action and made sure the Jags knew just how wrong they were with the tweet.
But at least Jalen Ramsey has earned some street cred. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team and his new partner, A.J. Bouye, has been solid in three years in the league.
Of course they’re nowhere near the level of Chris Harris or Aqib Talib. And Maye and Adams have a loooooong way to go before they’re near the level of Darian Stewart and T.J. Ward.
Get it together, Jets and Jags.
