The Denver Broncos just dominated the Miami Dolphins.
Considering the Dolphins came into the Mile High City as the clear favorite, Denver controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball was impressive. Defensively, the Broncos racked up six sacks of Tua Tagovialoa and even kicked him out of the game.
Offensively, it was all about the power running game. Garett Bolles and Dalton Risner pulled from the left side of the line to the right repeatedly, pancaking would-be blockers along the way.
They opened up holes for both Phillip Lindsay as well as Melvin Gordon, with the newcomer Gordon leading the way with 84 yards and two touchdowns. Those two scores were the Broncos’ only two touchdowns on the day, and they proved critical in the 20-13 victory. Wildly, he could’ve even enjoyed a three-touchdown day but he fumbled just before the goal line in the fourth quarter.
