The Denver Broncos are defending Super Bowl champions but enter 2016 with many questions on the offensive side of the ball – specifically how they will replace Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

Head coach Gary Kubiak named Trevor Siemian the starter for 2016, but Paxton Lynch is waiting in the wings after being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. If this year’s team is going to have any success on offense, it will be because the offense limits turnovers and the ground game, led by C.J. Anderson, takes a big leap forward from the hybrid “Kubiak-Manning” system the Broncos ran in 2015.

On defense, the Broncos return nine of 11 starters including Super Bowl MVP Von Miller. Denver was dealt some bad news on the injury front during training camp with the loss of Vance Walker, but new additions like Jared Crick and the promotion up the depth chart of Todd Davis should play big roles in filling the holes left by Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan.

We cover all that, plus much more, in the Broncos 2016 edition of Mile High Sports on Denver 8 TV. Hosts Danny Williams and Benny Bash welcome MHS NFL Insider Benjamin Allbright and Weekend Drive host Sean Walsh talking all things Broncos.
