The Denver Nuggets rolled vs the Utah jazz last night in a 129-93 victory, dominating the second half and playing a deep bench as a result.
Jamal Murray sat out, and that allowed Peyton Watson to earn a start. The Nuggets went with no point guard in their starting lineup against Utah but were still dominant on both ends of the floor. Nikola Jokic was a big reason why, finding his own shot, setting up teammates, and gobbling up rebounds. Jokic also hit a tremendous shot from beyond halfcourt that shifted the momentum Denver’s way heading into halftime.
On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Denver Nuggets dominant win vs the Utah Jazz. Nikola Jokic hit another 3/4 court shot, Peyton Watson is figuring out his role, and the Nuggets are one step closer to clinching the playoffs.
Ryan breaks down the game against a hapless Jazz squad, Denver’s playoff scenarios in the final seven games, and much more in the 800th episode of Pickaxe and Roll.
