Nikola Jokic has been on a tear all season, but his most recent record might be the greatest of them all.

On Friday night, Jokic notched another triple-double in a big win over the Memphis Grizzlies. It was the most important game of the season for Denver, and Jokic was sublime once again. Because Jokic now has 709 total assists in 69 games, he’s officially guaranteed to average at least 10.0 assists per game, solidifying a triple-double average on the year. With 29.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists, Jokic has put together what statistically might be the greatest offensive season in NBA history. It’s been a special year for Jokic, and this is just another way of recognizing that.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn breaks down the Denver Nuggets big win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Nikola Jokic solidified a triple-double average on the season, Jamal Murray returned to the floor, Aaron Gordon carried Denver early, and Russell Westbrook closed late.

Ryan breaks down the win, whether Nuggets fans should be moved by the recent shifts, and the playoff ramifications heading into the final day of the regular season on Sunday.
