When talking about the Colorado Rockies, the one thing you never have to worry about is offense, because they have plenty of it.
And on Thursday, both Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon were honored with Silver Slugger Awards, as they were recognized as the best hitters at their respective positions.

For Nolan, it was his second straight Silver Slugger Award, to go along with his four consecutive Gold Glove Awards, which makes him the eighth Rockies player to earn multiple Silver Slugger Awards.
Arenado is the 8th Rox player with multiple Silver Sluggers: Castilla, CarGo, Helton, Holliday, Tulo, Walker and… Mike Hampton, obv.

If Colorado can just build a solid pitching staff around this group, there’s no reason the Rockies can’t surprise the baseball world in 2017.
