The Denver Nuggets have announced that the team has signed center Nikola Jokić to a multi-year deal. Nuggets General Manager Tim Connelly made the announcement on Tuesday morning.
Following a rather dismal year for the Nuggets, Jokić will be bringing a lot to the table this upcoming season.
For the past three years, Jokić has been playing for KK Mega Vizura of the Adriatic League. This past season, the big man appeared in 38 games (37 starts) and averaged 16.6 points, 7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and one block per game. Jokić was also named the Adriatic League Round MVP four times.
Despite the change of tempo, Jokić looked right at home on an NBA court this summer. During the 2015 Summer League he averaged 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.40 blocks in 21.0 minutes per game.
Jokić brings enormous potential to a young Nuggets roster. At only 20 years old, his ceiling is extremely high. His highlights from the Summer League show Jokić is a solid defender, has great finesse around the rim, is good at spacing the floor and is an above-average passer.

Pairing Jokić with Emmanuel Mudiay and Danilo Gallinari, the Nuggets may surprise a few critics this upcoming season.
