After extending the likes of Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari, the Nuggets continue to lock up their own players they see playing a role in the future of the franchise. Thursday it was Will Barton’s turn to put the pen to paper.

According to the Denver Stiffs Barton signed a three-year deal worth $10.6 million.
Barton was acquired mid season from the Portland Trailblazers in the Arron Afflalo deal. He averaged 11 points per game in 28 games with the Nuggets last season. Barton is expected to compete for the starting shooting guard job next year.
