As the Denver Broncos’ schedule heads for the final two games of the season, head coach Vance Joseph has a decision to make on the starting quarterback for this Sunday’s game against Washington and said that the decision may not come soon.
“We have not yet,” Joseph replied, when asked if a decision has been made regarding this week’s starting quarterback. He mentioned that Paxton Lynch was in the Broncos’ facility over the weekend to rehab, and said that Lynch will practice on Wednesday, which may be the day the announcement is made.
“I’m not sure. We’re obviously going to discuss it with the staff to see where we are, with both guys. Paxton hadn’t practiced in three weeks, we have to see where he’s at physically. He came in Saturday and Sunday, threw the ball, rehab, so we’ll see.”
