The Denver Nuggets held the Boston Celtics to just 84 points last night, their lowest total points allowed since 2021. There were a confluence of events that helped make it happen (like the Celtics being on the second night of a back-to-back) but a clearly renewed effort and focus on defense helped the Nuggets be successful. On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn reacts to the Denver Nuggets win over the Boston Celtics in which they used defense (is that allowed?!) to earn a near 20-point win. Ryan discusses the game, a fun debut for KJ Simpson, and reacts to the Calvin Booth interview making the rounds all over Nuggets social media.
