The Denver Nuggets received good news this morning that Nikola Jokic escaped major injury, having only suffered a hyperextension in his left knee against the Miami Heat on Monday night.

Still, Jokic will miss the better part of a month, and with the Nuggets now missing four starters, Denver’s in a very difficult place from a standings perspective. They have to find a way to win games without the best player in the world just to stay in playoff position.

On the latest episode of Pickaxe and Roll, Ryan Blackburn discusses the Nikola Jokic injury in last night’s game in Miami. Jokic suffered a hyperextension in his left knee and will miss four weeks or more, but it could’ve been way worse. Ryan goes over the injury, Denver’s loss vs the Heat, and whether the Nuggets an survive without Jokic for a month.
