It was not a pretty second half for the Denver Broncos, and to a man, they know they have to be better. As fans, it’s easy to point the finger at any one individual player or play, but the truth is that the entire team, both defense and offense, played a part in the Broncos loss to the Steelers.
And while most guys stayed away from social media following the team’s second straight loss, those who did jump on Twitter understand they need to get better.
If I play like that we gone lose . My bad #BroncosCountry Ima bounce back harder . #motivation

While a few tweets don’t mean much if there’s no results that follow, you have to give these guys credit for owning up to their performances. If anything, it’s good to know that the team is as frustrated as their fans are; that’s something that hasn’t always come through in seasons pass — hence, John Elway‘s plea for more “Kicking and screaming.”
That said, Broncos Country is still waiting on Vernon Davis‘ acknowledgement that he needs to get better. Maybe he’s still crafting the perfect apology for dropping a critical pass in each of the last two games?
