The Denver Broncos were grossly underrepresented in the NFL Network’s “Top 100” players list, but they did score one major coup. As voted by the players, Von Miller is the best defensive player in the game. He ranked second overall to five-time Super Bowl champion and four-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.

It is Miller’s second time ranking inside the top 10, but the first time since 2013. It’s been a slow and steady climb back since he ranked No. 9 in 2013.
In 2016, coming off his Super Bowl MVP performance, Miller ranked No. 15 overall.
This past season Miller posted 13.5 sacks and 78 tackles (62 solo), plus 29 hurries and three forced fumbles.
Miller ranked No. 33 in 2015 and No. 76 in 2014. He was No. 52 in 2012 following his rookie season.
In addition to his Super Bowl 50 MVP, Miller claims five Pro Bowl nominations, three first-team All Pro nods (including each of the past two years). His 73.5 career sacks are already 75th in league history through his first six seasons.
