Horse racing hopes American Pharoah can break a 37-year streak and finally deliver another Triple Crown winner. Step two in that feat could come Saturday in Baltimore where the 2015 Kentucky Derby winner is the odds-on favorite to win the 2015 Preakness Stakes.

Saturday’s race will be the 140th running of the Preakness and will feature the top three finishers in the Derby for the first time since 2009, Pharoah, Firing Line and Dortmund.

The morning line at Pimlico has Pharoah at 4-5 odds, with Firing Line at 4-1 and Dortmund at 7-2.

Victor Espinoza, who rode California Chrome to victories in the Derby and Preakness in 2014, as well as American Pharoah’s Kentucky Derby win, will have the inside lane as he seeks the second jewel in the Triple Crown.

Fans looking for more info on the race can tune in to Mile High Sports Radio FM 94.1 | AM 1550 or online Friday, May 15 from 1 2p.m. to 2 p.m., as Irv & Joe will be broadcasting a special Preakness Stakes edition of the show live from Softball Country Event Center and OTB.
