Although he played just one season with the Colorado Avalanche, one that would prove to be his last in an NHL sweater, Daniel Briere clearly had a strong impact with the club. When the 37-year-old announced his retirement after 17 NHL seasons, the organization and several of its players and personnel took to social media to offer their well-wishes and some fond memories of Briere’s time in Colorado.
