When you get to the postseason, to call any win a “big win” becomes a massive understatement. Postseason wins are franchise defining, and when you get one, you have to enjoy it; they don’t come around often.
The Denver Broncos may have played a postseason game in five straight seasons, but they’ve gone one-and-done twice, including last year, and everyone in Broncos Country knows how painful it is to lose after coming off a first-round bye. So while Denver’s win over Pittsburgh may not have been the prettiest of victories, it was a playoff victory, and that’s all that matters.
Following the game, the Broncos players took to social media to express their excitement, both for Sunday’s win and for their upcoming matchup with the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game.
