The Denver Broncos had to wait over two and a half hours to get back on the clock, but when they did, they, uh, definitely took the air out of the building.
Despite weapons like Braxton Miller on the board, the Denver Broncos drafted Adam Gotsis, defensive tackle out of Georgia Tech. According to CBSSports, Gotsis was the 16th-ranked defensive tackle in the draft, and was projected to go somewhere between the fourth and fifth rounds.
Safe to say, it wasn’t the most popular pick …
Broncos take Gtech DT Adam Gotsis. Never heard of him. #analysis

I'm just going to sit here and not say a word. #Broncos #Gotsis

Gotsis has interesting skill set as a run stopper. But was projected as fourth-fifth rounder #BroncosDraft

215 pound safety with 19 picks who runs a 4.5 just went the pick after the Broncos…

The Broncos took the 177th ranked player at No. 63.

I might have gone a different direction …

On the bright side, many have compared Gotsis, who played Australian Rules Football for eight years, to Derek Wolfe, and he’s expected to slot in at defensive end, replacing Malik Jackson.
I compared Gotsis to Derek Wolfe.

Gotsis — Grade: B. This is a kid whose name kept coming up with scouts. Solid Elway pick. A lot like Derek Wolfe

@VicLombardi he looks like another Derek Wolfe, hopefully he can be just as good. pic.twitter.com/R7JmQICHQG

We've added DL Adam Gotsis in the 2nd rd from Georgia Tech. Talented athlete w/big upside who has really adapted well to American football.
