Acquiring Sebastien Le Toux from Philadelphia wasn’t the only move the Colorado Rapids made at the transfer deadline.
The club announced that forward Luis Solignac has been dealt to the Chicago Fire in exchange for allocation money, thus ending the Argentine’s 18-month stint in burgundy.
“On behalf of Colorado Rapids, I thank Luis for his service and wish him well for his future career,” said Paul Bravo, Technical Director and VP of Soccer Operations.
Solignac scored three goals in his time with the Rapids while tallying four assists in 33 appearances, 26 of which were starts.
Solignac’s last goal for the Rapids came in the 41st minute of a 2-1 win over Kansas City on April 13, the first game of the team’s unbeaten run.
