Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story was named the National League Player of the Week Monday.

Story hit a whopping .400 with three home runs and six RBI during the week and capped it off Sunday by hitting a walk-off home run. Story is currently third on the Rockies in batting average (.292), second in home runs (20), and tied for first in RBI with Nolan Arenado (68). He is currently second among Major League shortstops in home runs, second in RBI and fourth in batting average.
Story is on pace for a career year (.292 BA, 20 HR, 68 RBI, OBP .353, SLG .557) and was rewarded for it by being selected to his first career All-Star Game, which will be held on July 17th at 8 p.m. EST in Washington, DC. Story will be joined by All-Star teammates Nolan Arenado, Charlie Blackmon, and manager Bud Black.
