When C.J. Anderson was placed on injured reserve following surgery to repair his torn meniscus, it looked as if his season was over.
In that time, Devontae Booker and Kapri Bibbs have stepped into larger roles, but the Broncos backfield has been entirely ineffective in Anderson‘s absence, rushing for just 2.6 yards per carry in the team’s last three game.
According to Troy Renck, though, there might be a chance Anderson hasn’t seen the field for the last time this season.
Good news in #Broncos bye week RB CJ Anderson's knee healing ahead of schedule. Would love to see him as factor in playoffs @DenverChannel

Even if Anderson only returned for the playoffs in a limited role, it could be a much-needed offensive boost at the most important time of the year.
Let’s hope we haven’t seen the last of No. 22.
