Danilo Gallinari, arguably the Nuggets’ most-important player, will be out tonight as Denver takes on Utah.

Wilson Chandler, Denver’s leading scorer, is expected to slide into the starting role, likely opening up additional time for Juancho Hernangomez and Jamal Murray off the bench.
Through 14 games, Gallo is playing a career-high 36.2 minutes per game, averaging 16.8 points and adding an additional 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
The injury is not expected to be too serious, but with his extended usage, Michael Malone looks to be playing it safe with Gallo on a back to back.
Every game is crucial for the Denver Nuggets, as they sit on the verge of playoff contention, and they’ll have to hope the rest of their roster can step up in Utah against a division rival.
