The Denver Broncos may have taken down the Panthers for the second time in as many games on Thursday, but it’s not all good news in Broncos Country. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Demaryius Thomas, the Broncos star wide receiver, could miss some time with an injured hip.
Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas, who suffered hip injury Thursday, underwent MRI Friday that now will be sent out for 2nd opinion, per sources.

In his expanded report on ESPN.com, Schefter said: “But there is some concern that Thomas could miss some time, depending on the second opinion.”
Thomas suffered the injury in the first quarter but continued to play throughout the game, hauling in four receptions for 48 yards.
If Thomas were to miss Sunday’s game against the Colts, if not more, one of Cody Latimer, Bennie Fowler and Jordan Taylor would be forced to step up into a starting role, while Emmanuel Sanders slides into the No. 1 spot.
