Earlier this afternoon, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reported that the Nuggets were comfortable staying at the seventh-overall pick, and it seems like it all worked out for them. Again, according to Dempsey, Jamal Murray wasn’t just high on their draft board; he was third overall, only trailing Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram.

And it makes sense. The Denver Nuggets needed as much shooting as possible, and nobody does it better than Murray who made 113 three last season at a 41 percent clip.
Based on the reactions on Twitter, though, the Nuggets aren’t the only ones ecstatic about the selection.
