Whether it’s through the draft or through a trade, the Denver Broncos need to come out of this weekend with a quarterback that can at least compete with Mark Sanchez.
According to Adam Schefter, that quarterback won’t be Sam Bradford.
Denver does not expect Philadelphia to trade Sam Bradford to Broncos or to any team, per sources. Broncos now mulling other QB options.

After the Eagles traded up to the No. 2 pick with aspirations of selecting one of the draft’s top two quarterbacks, Bradford asked Philadelphia for a trade, but they’re holding strong in their desire to keep him in the building.
Even if the Eagles select Carson Wentz as their quarterback of the future, they still plan on having him sit and develop for some time, if not a significant time. That’s why they want Bradford — oh, and the fact that they just gave him a non-refundable $11 million signing bonus.
Schefter says the Broncos are still “mulling other QB options.” Only time will tell what those options are.
