Former Colorado Rockies slugger Dante Bichette hasn’t played in the Major Leagues since 2001. Still, if Wednesday’s UCHealth Healthy Swings Home Run Derby is any indication, the 53-year-old is still more than capable at the plate.

Bichette was not the only Blake Street Bomber on hand. Vinny Castilla, who still serves as a special assistant for the Rockies , also showed he still has some pop left in his bat.

The event was held to raise money for the National Stroke Association. For each hit, UCHealth donated a predetermined amount of money to the cause. The event ended up raising $35,600.
