The Denver Broncos love playing as underdogs, but if there’s one thing they love doing even more, it’s calling out all those that doubted them. Luckily, they’ll have plenty of options this week, as almost nobody expected them to beat the Patriots.
According to NFLPickWatch.com, 76 percent of NFL experts picked New England to take down Denver in their own house, including former Denver Broncos great Mark Schlereth.
When asked about his decision by some fans, he stood by his decision.
I'm paid to be an analyst not a super fan. https://t.co/voVCGXpy2v

And while that makes sense, it still wasn’t an easy pill to swallow, especially when NFL Countdown’s Tom Jackson makes sure to pick the Broncos each and every week. Apparently, the Broncos players noticed, too.
How you like us now?! @espn @markschlereth @NFL

To his credit, Schlereth did say he was happy to be wrong, but that doesn’t mean he’ll receive a warm welcome the next time he walks into the Broncos locker room; these guys have been known to hold grudges, even if it’s just for motivational reasons.
Never been happier to be wrong Way to go Broncos

Would be quite the surprise if he picks against the Broncos again in two weeks; you’d think they’d have earned his confidence by now.
