Just hours after the news of Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady being lost for the season with an ACL tear, the Broncos have acquired tackle Ryan Harris.

Harris was drafted by the Broncos in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft. He started in 34 games over the course of four seasons with the Broncos.
After leaving the Broncos, Harris signed with the Houston Texans and then-coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak, now with the Broncos is bringing a zone blocking scheme to Denver and Harris has experience under Kubiak in that system.
Harris played in every game during his two seasons in Houston, but started only five.
Last season Harris played in Kansas City and started fifteen games for the Chiefs.
The Broncos options at left tackle already on the roster are Chris Clark, who filled in for Clady in 2013, Michael Schofield, a third round pick last year, or Ty Sambrailo, the Broncos second round pick this year.
