As for the Nuggets, they are going to need Nikola Jokic to come up big in Game 4. He’s the MVP and Denver’s success starts and ends with him. Of course, he needs guys like Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon to step up, but this is Jokic’s team. If he wants to take this series further, Jokic will need to stand out on Sunday.

Michael Porter Jr. Under 17.5 Points (-130, BetMGM Sportsbook)

We are going back to the well with this prop despite the fact that the juice is a bit high at -130. Still, Porter has struggled against Phoenix’s swarming defense. He’s getting the most attention of any of the wings on Denver and it’s showing.

Porter has yet to score 18 in this series and we expect that trend to continue. Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, and the entire Phoenix defense have given him issues all series long.

Nikola Jokic Top Points Scorer (-140, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Nikola Jokic was named MVP because he can do a little bit of everything, but Denver is going to need him to shoulder the scoring burden if they want to stay alive in this series. Jokic’s point total is at a reasonable 29.5, but this is the better bet on his scoring.

Devin Booker and Chris Paul are the two main threats for Jokic on this prop, but we expect them to split up the points to a certain degree. Jokic will have to be the go-to guy for the Nuggets.

Cameron Payne Over 8.5 Points (-111, FOX Bet Sportsbook)

Cameron Payne has been one of the best bench performers throughout the playoffs. His scoring punch off the bench has been invaluable for Phoenix, especially considering the fact that Chris Paul has been banged up these playoffs. Look for Payne to provide a lift off the bench and score in double figures. He’s capable of scoring at any level on the floor and we don’t expect him to be shy in a closeout game on Denver’s home court.
