The Denver Broncos, like much of the NFL, have been battling the injury bug for awhile now, with guys like DeMarcus Ware and Aqib Talib missing extended time, while others, such as Trevor Siemian, have been forced to battle threw the pain.
But with an extra week of rest, things are looking up, especially when compared to the Kansas City Chiefs, who look to be a walking infirmary.
Of the eight players on the Broncos’ injury report, there isn’t one that’s expected to miss Sunday’s matchup. Guys like Talib and Wolfe might be game-time decisions, but there’s definitely a good chance they play.
On the other side of the field, the Chiefs have a large swath of their starting defense in danger of missing the game, which is bad news for a team that largely relies on their defense to win games.
For both of these teams, success or failure is only separated by a thin margin; one missing piece and the whole tower can come crumbling down.
