The Spotlight Series from The MMA Plug powered by Mile High Sports is a series dedicated to featuring coaches from the MMA camps across the state of Colorado.
The goal was to have a full season of coach conversations ramped up and ready to launch, but the coronavirus and subsequent lockdown had other plans. So, for now, we are releasing the two episodes that we were able to capture and produce.

For the second episode, we sat down with Factory X Head Coach and Owner Marc Montoya. The Factory X general will be in the corner tomorrow night for #3 light heavyweight Anthony “Lionheart” Smith as he takes on Glover Texeira at UFC Jacksonville.
Coach Montoya opens up about how his background in team sports, including his college baseball career, has helped build the culture of his gym. Coach also gets into how his experiences, both past and present, continue to shape his approach as a leader in the gym.
