It’s wild to cover Nikola Jokic, because he’s always capable of surprising even those that know him best.
In the newest episode of the Pickaxe and Roll Podcast, Ryan Blackburn to the Denver Nuggets 130-127 win over the Golden State Warriors as Nikola Jokic hits an epic buzzer beater just inside halfcourt. With just over three seconds left, Jokic caught the inbound pass, dribbled across halfcourt on the right side, and banked in a three over Kevon Looney, right in front of Steve Kerr.
The Nuggets were down by as many as 18 points heading into the fourth quarter, but Jokic and the Nuggets willed themselves back into this game, and Jokic made an incredible shot. He’s prone to do that every now, and then, and he’s shooting 39-of-44 from the field in his last four games.
